Titanic or The Dark Knight

I really don't care if The Dark Knight passes Titanic to become the highest grossing movie.First off, if you adjust for inflation, Gone With the Wind is still the king. Second off, I think Dark Knight is far superior anyways. So what do you think?

I like Titanic, but also think it's extremely overrated. How the hell could that win Best Picture? Especially when L.A. Confidential was one of the nominees? It's like when Ghost and A Few Good Men were best picture nominations. I thought they were a good and great movie, respectively, but best picture-worthy???

But if Uwe Boll gets ahold of the film rights to Bioshock (he was already denied Metal Gear and World of Warcraft without having even enquired about them), watch out box office records!

Not really. The Dark Knight currently has $514.79 million but is making less than $10 million a week at this point, whereas Titanic had a total of $600 million. It's just not going to happen.

Like CaptainCanada, I feel that Titanic is overly-hated around these parts...and honestly, as a motion picture, I think that it's a bigger, grander technical achievement with a more epic feel to it. So that's where I cast my vote.
