Here's something I've been thinking about and would do myself if my photoshopping skills were anywhere above zero...

What if, back in 1966, the network execs loved "The Cage" and there was no second pilot, just an order for three seasons?

What if Jeffrey Hunter had not been replaced by William Shatner?

What if Majel Barrett's "Number One" had remained as first officer?

What kinds of scenes would we have seen over the course of the series?

GO!

:D

Here are some I didn't do but snagged from here a few years ago, some of them you might remember, some of you probably did them. Lets give them a hand.

"Ach willl ye look at the heed on that Spock there...its like Sputnick! round but quite pointy in parts..."

Wow, that's gotta be one of the most convincing sombrerofications I've seen around here. And I've seen lots of them. ;)

*blush* Thanks. :) (I always love your avatars)

One nitpick though, maybe the shadow effect is a bit too much. Otherwise, it's really perfect. :techman:

I took the shadow down a little. I'm not that much of an artist, so I'm always unsure of my highlights and shadows.

Well, as people seem to like the black uniforms, I figured I would spend a little more time on it and see what they might look like on the bridge.

And further examples, with StarBase personnel in non-black uniforms...

That would have been a neat "Away Team" or "Tactical" uniform. Wouldn't have helped RCA sell color TV's in 1966, though.

It definitely makes them look more like military uniforms. I also like the darker blue uniforms for the same reason. I think they are awesome, but like you stated, it wouldn't sell COLOR TVs. :vulcan:
