Eh, I kinda have to agree with the critics on this one. There ARE some truly funny bits, and Carell is great... but the whole thing came across like just another generic action comedy. Like Rush Hour 2 or something.
 
And all the shaky Jason Bourne-style camera work and dark, moody lighting felt out of place too. This really needed to be a bright, fun looking movie like the Naked Gun movies, I think. 
 
And what was with Anne Hathaway in this? Her character was completely unlikeable, and had no chemistry with Carell at all. Don't they do screen tests do determine this kind of thing beforehand? lol
