Repeat thetaer viewings of movies highest number?

Ok, movies that were re-released like the Star Wars films going again the econd time it came out doe not count. So, which film did you go see the most at the theater for repeat viewing. Mine is Twister which I went to see 6 times with my ex-wife when it came out. We went twice by ourselves and 4 times with friends or family. On another note I LOVE watchign that movie with my surround sound. Those tornadoes kick ass.

I think the only time I saw a movie in the theater the second time was Star Wars Episode III.

I saw Star Trek IV about 14 times in the theaters.

And Back to the Future a dozen times.

I probably saw Willow in the theater a dozen times. In my defense, they had just built the theater about half a mile from my house, it was Summer, and my best friend's brother was working there, so I didn't pay or anything...

I think three is my highest number -- for Star Trek: First Contact and Mission: Impossible 2.

I saw Star Wars 13 times in the theater (one time I saw it 4 times in a row). I saw Grease 3 times (all in the same day).

Oh, does Rocky Horror count? I've seen that about 10 or 15 times.

I have only ever seen one movie in the cinema more than once - The Phantom Menace. I went to see it day of release and then again when an old friend of the family came over from France to visit his Dad.

I have never seen a film in the cinema twice. Not because I am opposed to it or anything though, going to the cinema has historically been a hassle for me.

I saw Serenity four times.

And when it first came out, I saw Rattle and Hum three times in one day.

I generally don't see movies more than twice. I think the only exception was Episode III. I ended up seeing it three times. Once was by myself on opening night. The second, I went with my brother to see it in digital. The third time, we went with my other brother and his wife, who hadn't seen it yet.

I saw the first Batman movie and the first Pirates movie both at least 6 times. I had a movie pass I needed to use up for Batman and a serious popcorn addiction going on with Pirates.

mmmmmmm.....popcorn. Maybe I should go see Indy or The Happening so I can have all-you-can-eat popcorn.

Raiders of the Lost Ark about 20 times over the entire YEAR it played on the biggest non-IMAX screen in the area.

Blazing Saddles about 20 times as well.

Movies I sat through twice the same day: Silverado, The Big Chill, The Music Man and (as a kid) Hey There, It's Yogi Bear.

Back to the Future, seven times. Never came close with another movie- but I did see ROTK, Master and Commander, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix three times each.

I did see Star Wars four times during an early 80s revival. I only saw it once when it first came out in '77.

Probably ROTK. We saw it opening night, then I saw it with my Mother when I went back home as no one would go with her, then we planned a get together when we all came back from Christmas break to see it, and finally we all saw it in the $2 theatre.
