I was just looking at the schedule for Scifi and in June they are going to start Star Trek: TNG on Monday Nights. When did this happen, if it's not a mistake with the scheduling?

It depends. If they edit the episodes the same way Spike did then yes.

I am SO torn at this moment.
I despise all that is SlyLieChunnel for all the shows they've gotten people interested in and then cancelled.
I also wouldn't have gotten some nice home-brew DVDs of ENTERPRISE without them airing it...
...and now I can finish my recordings of TNG as well, which were wrecked when SPIKE dropped it before airing season seven again.
HOW can I now continue to hate?!?!

You've never watched the Sci-Fi Channel, have you? If they aired "24" it would have to be retitled "15.3"

For me, this is great news. Even though I haven't seen an episode of TNG in years--not counting TATV--I've actually been nostalgic for the series in recent months...
I really hope SCI-FI runs this show in order rather than start hopping all over the place and skipping entire seasons, though.

So this means that it will be in HD for me. Awesome. Now I will get to see how the low res FX hold up to HD...
Well, TNG is airing one night and ENT is airing the next night. It might be close one of these days. I think Scifi should do that at least once. It might give people something to talk about at least.

Will we see HD maybe? I get SciFi's HD version.
Since TNG wasn't done with HD in mind, it's a good question as to what we'll see.
TOS, when shown in HD, failed to pass the test due to the special effects and such not being "HD worthy". That's why they had to be all redone, which led to what's now called "TOSR" ("R" meaning "remastered").
TNG has the same type of problem. The filmed portions with the actors on the sets may come across good, but the special effects and other stuff (such as ships in space) may fail, just as happened with TOS.
That's why there's been talk of TNG getting the "R" upgrade too. Hasn't happened yet, tho'. (As far as we know.)
