Probably the Dax/Lenara kiss from DS9's Rejoined, not because of the hyped up controversy it had when it aired, but because it was a realistic and perfectly natural display of affection between the two characters.

Nope..not even close. KIRA and ODO's kiss in the classic romantic episodes HIS WAY...THAT is TREK's greatest kiss, bar none. Best same-sex kiss has to be re-joined!

Absolutely agree. The Dax kiss was sweet but a ploy. Kirk/Uhura was groundbreaking but not written well (it just had to be alien influence...).

Odo/Kira's first kiss was a joy. Great buildup, great dialogue, great direction and a great kiss. Really, that was the only filmed kiss in any show or movie that made me wish such a thing would happen to me.

Though not my favorite episode, from the mechanical point of view, the kiss between Spock and Zarabeth from "All Our Yesterdays" is the best. He fights the kiss, then lets go and kisses her. He stops and tells her she is "more beautiful than anything I could have ever hoped for", then picks her up and twirls her around delightedly smiling, carries her, the lays her down on the bed. Man do I need a cold shower. Why can't men in real life behave like that?

I tried that exact routine, but she didn't take me seriously because of the pointed ears.
