Apparently there will be a MTG set dedicated to Star Trek.

This is going to be a interesting overlap of two different fandoms.

It must be almost 30 years ago since I last played MTG. I remember being an avid collector of the Decipher Star Trek CCG. I still have all my cards somewhere.

Some of these cards are so cool. This is an amazing representation of City for a cardgame.

Just took the plunge and bought come collector commander decks and scene card packs. I wanted to get some collector booster packs, but those appear sold out at the moment.

No idea what I'm doing though lol. My younger brother and older brother play Magic and have offered to teach me how to play. My younger brother has been advising me I. What to buy and what not to buy.

There is a mobile app version of Magic TCG. I might give that a whirl to see if it helps with the learning curve re: how to play
