Yes we do.We have no idea when they finished filming
Thanks for backing up my point about there being a difference between production and filming.According to IMDb the filming (not production) for the first season concluded on January 31, 2025. This TrekCore article quotes several of the actors posting about the wrap of filming for season one in early February of 2025. The article notes that a lengthy post production phase following the filming is to be expected. The concepts for the atrium in “Rubincon” by Connor Lucas are dated December 5th, 2024. So almost three months earlier.
This is the first in a series of briefing packs that provide a unique insight into Star Trek ships. Jett Reno’s Guide to the U.S.S. Athena is an internal document that was created by the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy art department to provide the writers and directors with essential information about the ship. It includes annotated exterior views, information about the ship’s different modes and its transformation and landing procedures, schematics showing the location of all the key systems including classrooms and dorms, and diagrams of all the key sets. The briefing pack consists of 120 pages and comes in a presentation portfolio.
This is a pre-order that is due to ship in September 2026

It's about time we've gotten some more technical manuals! This is an easy purchase for me.Master Replicas is going to publish a Starfleet Academy book that honestly looks pretty cool: “Jett Reno's Guide to the U.S.S. Athena”
Here‘s the blurb from their website:
Looks like this will likely answer all questions we have about the ship. The only thing I would like them to include is a section about the design procress for the Athena.

While I understand Brian's sentiments, it's wild to say it's riddled with "errors," when the Art Department were the ones who designed the ship in the first place.Oof

If it's the one that was sent to me as an internal only doc by Art months ago, it's riddled with errors, most of which are because they didn't talk to anyone in...mastodon.online
