Felt like the brief was 'give us a more family friendly new franchise starter' which weirdly Trachtenberg kinda did way better with Badlands!
Based on the level of profanity in the film, I doubt that.

Interesting. Many people will disagree, but the Conan reboot with Jason Momoa, while definitely flawed in some respects, was actually more respectful of the source material (all of which I've read) than the Arnold versions. I actually liked it. The original Arnold version, however, is pretty f'n epic, especially with the Basil P. soundtrack.
Seconded on the Basil Poledouris score.
It's terrible. Truly terrible.
Just read up on it now. Can't believe he cast a registered sex offender in his movies. And tried to defend it when he was found out.
To bad Basil is ded to. Great composer. Conan, Robocop, Hunt for Red October, Starship Troopers. Great music.
I'm good for King Conan and a cameo in the next predator.. Comando? No.

That's what I mean about the tone. There was at times a lighter more adventurous tone to some of the action, it featured a kid quite heavily and the suit at the end implied a sort of super hero option going forward, but at the same time it was really sweary and violent. It felt like Black was trying to satisfy multiple different audiences and as a result failing to satisfy any of them!
there are probley some alternate earths in the mutliverse where arnold has made many sequels and prequels of his movies like total recall predator commando true lies conan the barbarian the running man the 6th day and jungle all the way
The 7th Day. Because the sixth day was just the beginning.
abu,,,,,,,,,
Somewhere in the Multiverse, there is an Avengers-style crossover movie featuring all of Arnold's characters.
The Arnvengers.
Well played.
Get to da Quinjet.
*insert Predator meme but with both of Arnold's right arms here*
You just made me spit my hot chocolate.
