Hmm. Given the timespan, having an WNMHGB-era ship juxtaposed with TWOK-era uniforms actually makes sense.

Just as with any other GC opus, I await this one with a worm on my tongue. Looking at the B&N web site, I might be able to get it sometime next week.

Reminds me of when John Ordover said people complained about TNG #30, Blaze of Glory, having a TOS-era Constitution class ship on the cover. Tell 'em to read the book!

Tony Mauro. He's done several Trek novel covers in recent years.

I can't remember that one at all. Nothing in the Memory Beta article rings any bells. The title, though, reminds me of a 1970 Chuck Menville short subject.
