Spoilers Star Trek: The Last Starship

said in a recent video that he expects the USS Omega to be in game in October.
He's probably going off the fact the official announcement article from September 10th said this:

"That’s all for now, but before I go, I wanted to leave with you an image of the final in-game model of the Omega as a teaser for what you can expect next month!"

Hopefully it’s in on 1st October!
That's a Wednesday, so no. New stuff arrives Tuesdays or Thursdays.

#1 was really well-written. And I dig the Picard connection. I find the first glimpses of the post-Burn Federation to be quite fascinating. The art direction is, well, artistic and unique.

All was great until the very last page. We desperately need new, original villains.

So I read the whole article, and they never really defined what they mean by this? Is it the highest number of pre-order sales? The highest number of first-run copies printed? Or... ?
In the direct market, there wouldn't be a difference. There would be a small overprint at most, but in general the orders are going to set the print run.

Subs plus three, maybe five for this book. It’s gotten a little bit of press which is good, but it’s still not going to sell crazy numbers because a Star Trek book would never.

Uniforms were pretty interesting. Not a complete fan of the white parts but maybe in a future issue or so we'll get a breakdown of uniform styles and rank for the burn era or at least concept art

Still it almost looks like a theiss inspired costume in a non military look and something that looks comfortable to wear for long periods.

It states in Issue #1 that the contemporary Enterprise is one of the vessels destroyed, so likely no Enterprise X for quite some time.

Well - quite enjoyed that ...

  1. Have they KO'd Hanna already?
  2. The Bridge of the Omega seems to be equal parts Enterprise D and Discovery, not symmetrical, theres a ramp dowm on the left, but steps on the right, Hanna's console seemed to have a seat, but T'Galatheon's tactical console and Valqis' comm one seemed to be standing ones - so the front consoles are CONN/Tactical and Comms in the horseshoe.
  3. Does T'Galatheon work for the Tal'Shiar/V'Shar on Ni'Var, of Section 31?

Maybe I'm getting old but I just don't understand the action in this issue. Just, literally, what is going on in the panels. E.g. what happened to Hanna and the other crewmember? (And in a few places later on.)

Still: a fun read. I hope that at the end there's a meaningful story behing the resurrection idea...

There’s a battle with rogue Klingons and Wowie tries to save Hana from her exploding console.

Well - quite enjoyed that ...

Spoiler: Issue #2
The data file in the comic says Tal Shiar.
