I don't think too many folks here could consider this controversial, but one of the worst episodes of the final Berman Era series had one of my favorite Starfleet uniforms of the entire said era. Archer's dress uniform in the ENT finale is one of the handful of its redeeming qualities.

That was a very good video. He's right about a lot of it. Definitely Star Trek needs to find something to bind things together beyond the frontier.
A warning for anyone who watches, he is very Conservative. Also does make very good points across a multitude of franchises. His thoughts on RoboCop are very interesting.
That whole scene is a redeeming part of the episode. The uniform, Phlox, THE HUG. And that finale was 99% problems.
Very interesting. I certainly don't agree with everything he says, but I like him tying everything into the cultural zeitgeist of its time period.

It's my absolute least favorite episode of TOS, but I've always been fond of this sequence. It further humanizes the Starnes Expedition children and gives the senior officers chances to shine.

Sisko, while one of the more interesting and dynamic characters in the franchise, was a poor role model and kind of a war criminal.
He let his anger get the best of him and went on a rage fueled crusade againt Eddington that resulted in him committing an act of ethic cleansing agaist a Maquis colony.
Later, he directly played a part in the murder and cover-up of an innocent Romulan senator and his staff. While it can be argued that the and is justify the means, it was still murder, even if he didn't directly do the killing. He also continued to associate with Garak, a man he knows to be a stone cold killer, albeit a highly entertaining one.
The amusing part is that this all happened in the episode following the episode that introduced Section 31.
For all the talk about Section 31 being something the Federation should be morally above, Sisko sure seems like he'd make an excellent Section 31 agent.

While I don’t agree with your overall assessment of the man… regarding these specific incidents, you’re not wrong. But I think one of the major differences between Sisko and, say, Picard is that Sisko knows and privately acknowledges the moral grayness of his own actions, and it eats at him; while Picard would probably never acknowledge that he had done anything iffy (he’ll feel bad, maybe, but ultimately be sure he did the right thing).
I think a lot of Star Trek characters would make excellent Section 31 agents. Kirk and Spock were always pulling off their own operations, Picard got onto Romulus and worked out a way to genocide the Borg, Janeway did genocide the Borg, and Archer tricked Degra then wiped his memory before stealing a warp core from another ship. Star Trek's all about making moral choices and solving problems, and sometimes they just can't find a better solution.
The trouble with Section 31 is that they don't need to make moral choices, which completely bypasses the most important part of Star Trek. Any Trek character could do Section 31's job but they won't do it today. Well, most days anyway.
