This is actually the second season of Light and Magic, the first season came out a few months ago.

I thought they already said this wasn't going to be Episodes 10, 11, and 12?
And they've already said Rey will be appearing in multiple movies set after The Rise of Skywalker.
 
They really should do the battle against Thrawn in a movie as opposed to another streaming show, regardless of whatever happens with the box office for M&G.
 
Scored two brand new Black Series figures today, and that Krennic is so new that store reports about him are only a few days old.

After Ahsoka season 2, they may take a break from live action TV series and focus on movies. Also, I wonder why they haven't made a movie about the production process of the first Star Wars movie in 2027? It seems to me that someone at Disney may have said to Kathleen Kennedy that you're canceling too many movie projects, we don't want any more live action Disney Plus shows, we want you to shift your focus to movies, and Disney Plus may have said only make animations? I think the failure of the Skeleton Crew might be part of that hesitation. Mostly though I think they are just finishing out stuff they have been doing like Ahsoka and Andor and they already filmed The Mandalorian movie. I don't think they really want to do much else till they have her replacement in place because they will want to do what they want to do and not just work on a bunch of projects set in place before they were hired. This movie with Ryan Gosling must be special if they are trying to make it happen and I can see why. You got a huge star and a director that just made you lots of money with Deadpool and Wolverine. I bet this situation where they are going to give the director lots of room to do whatever he wants.

P.S. For those of you who were posting on here after Ray Stevenson passed, impatient for a decision as to what to do about his character; I'd recommend you watch Dave convey his feelings on the matter. It was clearly not an easy decision, and the way he tells it, for a while he wasn't even sure there was a way forward. He got there in the end though. Such things take time, and I think some people could learn a little patience and compassion. To us, as much as we may love his work and admire the person he was; Ray was still just an image person on a screen. For Dave and the other cast & crew, he was a person that they knew and adored. Anyone that's experienced grief knows that it's not a thing you can just get over in a hurry, or indeed ever. It takes time to process and I'm glad LF waited and took the time necessary to make the decision.
