Spoilers All Things STAR WARS - News, Speculation & Spoilers Thread

I'm loving the usage of OT-era alien races. So far we've seen a Snaggletooth, a Shistavanen, a Nikto, a Gran, a Rodian, an Ithorian, Jawas, a Whiphid, an Ishi Tib, a Weequay or two, a Trandoshan, a Quarren...

Source(s)?

I haven't seen or come across any news regarding a potential season 4/continuation of the Mandalorian other than "the Mandalorian and Grogu" movie which is currently scheduled for release in May 2026.

However, new information has come to light regarding the fourth season of The Mandalorian, which seemingly contradicts the conversations that The Hollywood Reporter‘s claims sparked.

“According to a report from The InSneider, The Mandalorian Season 4 may not be dead at Disney+,” The Direct wrote. “He noted that the follow-up remains “in development” for streaming, but The Mandalorian and Grogu will “arrive first” in theaters.

This new report adds to the growing confusion about Lucasfilm’s direction for Star Wars. Temuera Morrison’s candid remarks also shed light on Lucasfilm’s evolving priorities. Speaking to The RaeSide on YouTube, Morrison expressed his uncertainty about returning as Boba Fett, lamenting, “I think we’re just put on the shelf for a little bit. Maybe we come off the shelf later.
So far, it seems like a "Wait & See Moment" for how 'Mandalorian & Grogu' movie performs; then they'll see if Mando S4 is worth pushing ahead out of Development phase.

So insidemagic cites a report from the InSneider where it's stated that a season 4 MAY not be dead.

I don't know how reliable those "sources" are, but I'll have that with a truck load of salt, at least until more reliable industry sources can collaborate those news.

I'd love more (and more frequent) adventures of the Mandalorian btw.

You know, given we keep spotting Jawas on planets other than Tatooine, I’d really like to see a Jawa-run starship, if there are any.

About ranking the series, I think you need to include how you grade them as well. I mean, even though a series may be in your last place compared to others, you may still grade it as an A+ (just as an extreme example). I personally wouldn't rank any of them D or F, since they've all been pretty engaging and entertaining IMO.

This will probably change depending on my mood or day of the week, but here's mine:
1. Andor - A+
2. Skeleton Crew - A- (I'm only bugged by the short episode length right now)
3. Mandalorian - varies from A to B+, only brought down by the constant side quests
5. Ahsoka - B+
6. The Book of Boba Fett - B+
4. Obi-Wan Kenobi - B
7. Acolyte - C+

I could totally see a Jawa captain yelling to his pilot (in Jawanese) "Was that the primary buffer panel?!" when something breaks off!

I forgot the Klatooinian and the Mon Cal, and an Aqualish...
And Whiphid is wrong. :brickwall:
