Yes, but not in depth as far as her departure. I would say they were keen not to portray Jen Lien in a bad light. Several actors/producers said she seemed withdrawn when not shooting her scenes, but there was universal (and quite justified IMO) praise for her performing ability. Someone (I think Picardo) that without Kes, the Doctor would not have become a key character. As for the actual exit, they were a bit oblique (which was fine with me). Someone, perhaps Berman, mentioned that the cast was large with nine regulars, implying that someone had to go per the studio, but the documentary made no attempt to square the circle of Ryan coming on board immediately (heck, BEFORE Lien even left) and leaving the ensemble at the same size. One great touch: they showed Janeway's farewell scene with Kes (before "Fury" of course) and followed it with a statement by Mulgrew saying that her tears were real and she wasn't really acting.

You should have asked to switch seats with him.I saw the DS9 one at the UK premiere. I sat right behind Siddig. Rather annoying since he’s quite tall.
I was a bit worried about this. Voyager had so many issues that they won't want to dig up or dwell upon. It doesn't have the depth of actors to draw upon like the DS9 one. So my fear is it'll largely be "Voyager happened".
I guess what I fear is that, much like, IMO, VOY felt somewhat light and fluffy compared to DS9, the documentary will similarly feel less substantial, especially since I've already been led to believe there's apparently no substantial discussion of what I consider to be one or two of VOY's significant pain points.
I hope in 2025 I can finally get what I paid for with this documentary. They should have released it on digital to the backers of this campaign as soon it the first premiere date ended, yet we are still waiting. I accepted their reasons for the delay at first, but I am no longer donating to this company or maybe even anything Trek related. These people don't know how to handle money well, and they take advantage of those who contribute to campaigns. It happened with Axanar (Honestly, I remember when that was going on and I started getting in on the Trek podcast scene and everyone was asking for money. At least with Patreon, you get things right away, so you not only contribute out of the kindness of your heart, but you get some benefits as well), and it happened with this one. If this wasn't an official site and was treated like Axanar (And don't get me wrong, what Axanar did was crap too), I don't think people would have been this patient. We are now going on 4 years since they asked for money and only a select few have actually gotten to see the damn thing. There was no urgency here, and that was the worst part.
