Gen V (The Boys spino-off/universe) coming Sept 29, 2023

Yeah well, my interest is increasingly going away.

Again another unnecessary gross out moment ( do they have a quota to fill or a checklist?), people starting to make out/getting it on without any prior connection that way and just general stuff happening that's not too interesting. About the only thing watchable is Emmas' and Sams' relationship, which is cute and seems sincere.

I'm intrigued by what they're doing to Sam and if he really has mental damage or has just been experimented on too much. I really like Emma and it's interesting to see size change powers done this way, giving an interesting subtext. Two of the main actors were good in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and seem pretty good here too (Marie and Andre).

Yeah, I have to admit, him saying he needed a moment alone and then slinking off into behind the tree did get a laugh from me.
The nudity on this show is oddly one sided, they seem to go out of their way to show naked guys at every opportunity, but then go equally out of their way to obscure nude women.
It just really stood out with in they pretty graphically showed showed the telepath getting cocksploded by Marie, but then went out of their wide to hide everything with giant naked Emma. I'm not bothered by it, but it's just something that stood out to me.
Damn, Tek Knight is a massive douche, but I guess that's to be expected with a big name Supe.
The relationship they're building up between Sam and Emma is nice.
Marie and Jamie hooking up was definitely unexpected.

The funny thing is that Tek Knight was in the comic, but the only thing they kept was that he had a sex compulsion due to a brain tumor

In the comic he was kind of a take on Iron Man. He used a powered up suit that could fly and he was a regular human... Butcher didn't even really seem to have any problem with him and he was kind of one of the few actually decent heroes who really wanted to help people, but the tumor gave him sex impulses and eventually full-on hallucinations.

Probably a matter of consent, in that the actress who played Emma didn't want anything shown in her nude scene. Similar situation in the Herogasm episode of The Boys, where you see plenty of full nudity in that episode, both male and female. But in the scene where Hughie and Starlight end up naked, they're both filmed in a manner so as not to show anything.

It's more funny since I had a friend like him.

Once after a new years party we found him shagging his girl friends car

Yeah, that's probably it.

Andre's disillusion manifesting in vandalizing his dad's statue was well done. Chance is a good actor.

The Vought version of Sesame Street was a bit chilling for me. Poor Sam. Looks like he really does have Serious Mental Problems. The preview for next ep seems to indicate he really sees everyone as (m)puppets.

Emma is wonderful and I love her. I was wondering if she could grow too, and pleased to see she can.

I think that whole was a hallucination, so Vought Seasame Street might not even be a real thing.

That was pretty great.
This episode over all was really good. Literally getting in the characters heads was a nice way to give us some good development for them.
Wow, we finally got a clear answer to what Shetty's up to, and it was not what I expected. From the end it sounds like this is possibly something she's on her own, and not for Vought.
