Spoilers New Picard TV Series and Litverse Continuity (may contain TV show spoilers)

Yep. It was the Caeliar in the First Splinter Timeline, but the Borg Picard encountered in the alternate timeline in which they had assimilated Earth in 2063 had a different origin.

Ah, so they have a kind of Phantom Stranger vibe going here? Where many different origins are possible? I'm down with that. :)

By the way, does anyone else get massive Shatnerverse vibes from Picard season 3? The overwhelmingly contrived plotline so that only the oldies can save the day, the over-the-top insanity of the baddie plot, the scope of the threat, that it all hinges on Picard's seed etc etc
I just find it funny we are doing bad machine controlled Starfleet ships again. First in Lower Decks with the Texas Class, then Prodigy with the Construct and now this.

With PIC wiping Litverse and Shatnerverse off the map, would old games like Elite Force, Elite Force II, Armada and Armada II fit into canon continuity again?

I suppose Elite Force might, but Armada and Armada II wouldn't really fit. I have never played Elite Force II so I can't comment on that one.

There's a part of me that would love to write a novelization of Armada. Picard facing off against Locutus--what's not to love? It could get into the metaphysical implications of Picard facing his dark mirror in a way that Nemesis tried and failed to do. Is Locutus a clone? A copy? A relic of an alternate timeline? Or what if it's Picard that's the copy, and it's Locutus that is the original?

I reinstalled it on my PC a week or two ago. Michael Dorn sounds terrible, like he recorded all of his dialogue over the phone.
