I read that Terry currently does not involve in any Star Trek project.

So like a "Yellowstone" series in space? Instead of 1883 its 2403??

    Go West young man!
But there is no west in space..
Then go that way. "Points some random direction"

Never seen Yellowstone or it’s spin offs. But if it’s a show similar to the old Wagon Train series, then yes.

I've always wanted a series set in between TUC and TNG. Maybe see the actual battle at Nerendra III or just more stuff with the Romulans that made them go back into hiding again. I also wouldn't mind a real birth of the federation show, but that period from TUC to TNG hasn't been explored as much as I think it could be.

I would be happy with a new "Next" Next Generation show with a new Enterprise.

I would love an anthology series kinda like The Clone Wars, where you can jump around and follow different characters. like you can follow the crew of the Titan-A for three or four episodes, then you can jump to say the USS Enterprise-F/G and follow them for a few episodes. you don't have to be restricted to just one crew maybe even set a couple of Earth at Starfleet Academy and follow a group of Cadets on their first space voyage. you can even make it animated to cut cost.

    Mid-25th century.

Seven of Nine, captain of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-G, Her crew are a mix of the Titan crew (bridge crew & CMO), Stargazer bridge crew, Raffi, Elnor, and Worf. They are displaced in time 50-60 years in the future from PIC S3, placing her and her crew in the mid-25th century. And Soji is there to greet them, as she’s an android and has a long life span, and should have a lot of interesting experiences by then.

Then both the Captain Seven show, and the Worf/Raffi/Georgiou/Section 31 show can happen at the same time, while moving Star Trek forwards..

I would disregard all the 'Legacy' stuff. Paramount needs new audiences to jump in for Star Trek. Audiences who haven't watched the previous shows and are unfamiliar with those characters.

Star Trek: Federation 25th-century. A "Wagon-train to the stars" concept.

This would be the first convoy of Federation starships to explore beyond the galactic barrier. Ships equipped with transwarp conduits. They are tasked with expanding Federation space and building the first Starbase/Colony beyond the galactic barrier.

Sounds like a good idea. Though I am curious what they would hope to find in the intergalactic void. Interesting potential.

Another show set in the 23rd century. That's where all the fun is.

I don’t care what era it’s in. I want something that’s not Starfleet. We’ve seen many, MANY years of Star Trek focusing on Starfleet. It was flawed but I enjoyed parts of season one of Picard because so much of it involved looking at the Trek universe we knew from the outside. It was a breath of fresh air in that regard.

Wouldn't it be more expensive than our current Star Trek series has, as you'll need more actors, actress, more sets, etc?

Btw, is this what they call Star Trek Legacy that Matalas plan?

Not if you do it animated. Apparently Animated is alot cheaper to produce so it could work.

I'll be happy with whatever comes next. One thing I would love to see is a character that is an Australian.

On top of that, with animation it's also much easier to work around scheduling conflicts and location issues if they want to bring someone back for a one-off, or even a cameo. One of the difficulties with bringing back characters is getting them to the set.

I believe the reason Jeffery Coombs hasn't done any live action is because of not wanting to be away from family for too long, while Lower Decks could work around what he wants to do.
