Really late this month, sorry.

Here's the schedule for the next couple of months:

March 2008
------------

Star Trek: The Original Series

Star Trek: The Next Generation

April 2008
------------

Star Trek

Note: This list is subject to change.
Note2: For December-February publications, see "prev month publication" thread

from IDW

New Frontier #1 is supposed to be out in March.
Intelligence Gathering #3 should probably be out March/April
DC Fontana's Year Four The Enterprise Experiment is slated for April.

I'm not complaining.
really, I'm not.

More precisely, according to Comics Continuum and IDW's web site:

March
New Frontier #1 by Peter David and Stephen Thompson
TNG: Intelligence Gathering #3 by Scott & David Tipton and David Messina
TOS: Year Four trade paperback by David Tischman and several artists

April
TOS: Year Four: The Enterprise Experiment #1 by D.C. Fontana and Derek Chester
New Frontier #2 by Peter David and Stephen Thompson
TNG: Intelligence Gathering #4 by Scott & David Tipton and David Messina

i vote for the IDW publications being added to the original post in up coming months since they are publications people look forward to.

This was in the last Diamond shipment. Mine arrived in Australia on Wednesday. Looks great, and includes the prelude from "Spotlight on Star Trek" special.

Does anyone know a good place where I can order the New Frontier comic online (to ensure I can get hold of the quad-cover issue)?

Since I don't, haven't and never will read comics, is the storyline for the IDW comics taking place after MIA or does it fill in the gaps between 2377-80? In other words, do I really need to read them before NF#17?

Okay, I'm confused. You just said you never will read comics, so what the hell do you care?

Anyhow, I believe it will take place after MIA.

Any idea when in March the last two Slings and Arrows eBooks will be out? I'm holding off on reading it till I have them all.

Did you feel you missed something by ignoring WildStorm's "New Frontier: Double Time"?

According to Peter David's Newsarama interview, it's the next story after Missing in Action:
NRAMA: Roughly what time period is this set in?

PD: This follows directly after Missing in Action. It's basically the next New Frontier story.
As for why you should read the New Frontier comic:
It features the full range of seriousness and humor that is integral to New Frontier, ranging from Calhoun witnessing the gut-wrenching and brutal death of a key New Frontier cast member, to the mountainous Zak Kebron endeavoring to extract information from an unwilling individual by making him sit through a slide show of every vacation Kebron's family ever went on.

Plus, for the very first time, we'll be visualizing key characters such as Morgan Primus, answering questions that New Frontier fans have had going back years. It's a can't-miss for longtime New Frontier fans. And for people who have never read it, it will serve as a great introduction to the characters.
Any bets on who's going to die?

My money's on Burgy or Selar.

Oh, I hope not Burgy! I've never been very sympathetic with the PAD characterization of Selar (which, to be fair, is kind of the point, I think), so it won't distress me too much if it's her. I'm kind of hoping for Moke, though - I never really warmed to that character.

I'll put my skank down on their son, Xyon, instead. He's the one with the death sentence hanging over his head, after all...

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Nah, that's too easy. I think it's either Burgy or Selar, too.

I hope there will be some follow up on "Redemption" from No Limits.

I'd say Burgy myself, as far as I can remember, hir hasn't really had much of a role in the books lately, and I don't think hir demise would have too large of an impact on the plot of the series. Plus, IMO it could actually bring up some interesting character stuff for Selar, and Xy.
