And then there is that weird 'in between' size that a lot of DC Comics characters were done in, at around 6.5 inches or so. So too tall to go with 6 inch figures but not tall enough to go with 7+ inch figures. But the thing was, the torsos, heads and arms were the exact same size as a typical 6 inch figure, just with disproportionately longer legs to make them taller. I've seen some customizers cut the legs on those ones down by half an inch or so to actually be in proportion, and they look much better that way. Kor
Yeah these definitely seem closer to 5" than the original 4.5" figures, and generally look bulkier. But it's difficult to tell in isolation. As long as Picard, Riker and Data can fit into their chairs on the bridge playset, I'm happy!
A little off topic…but this might be of interest. We remember this vessel from TNG, used at least as often as the Batris: https://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/husnock.htm I wonder if this could have been it’s inspiration… http://reflectionsonfilmandtelevisi...ory-bank-cosmic-clipper-snapfix-1981.html?m=1 https://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2011/06/airfix-becomes-spacefix.html?m=1 The kit https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/cosmic-clipper-model-kit-1980-box-484345884 I don’t even remember these Airfix kits https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/catalog_items/flying-saucer Cute https://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2022/06/space-patrol-2002-computer-craft.html?m=1

Sorry if this has been discussed already… Do we know yet when these figures will be available in stores?
entertainment earth lists the WoK, TNG and Disco figures as available in July so I would expect them to start showing up places in the next month or so.

The face sculpts leave much to be desired from what I can tell. At least the old line had that cartoonish quality. from that distance Kirk looks like the best of the bunch.
I think they look alright? I'm confused by what many of the weird doodads they are holding are supposed to be? Khan, Riker and Data I mean.
Very interesting how the accessories are exactly the same as their original Playmates releases. Khan's accessories especially.
No idea what Khan's fishing with, but Riker and Data are holding Emergency Beacons, like used in "Identity Crisis" to find invisible transformed Geordi.
It's supposed to be that tool he used to pluck out the baby eels with. If it didn't have that big handle the figure would never have been able to hold it.
True. But Mr. and Mrs. Janeway somehow sounded wrong too. I couldn't decide either way, so I left it open. We could also talk about a double-name, Janeway-Chakotay? Almost like the shipper name
