Spoilers The Dr. Agnes Jurati Thread

Spot73- I'm Spot 73 ...your very best friend of course.
Agnes - And I made you?
Spot73- Obviously, ...Meow.
Agnes - I'm in a crazy mirror universe where it turns out I'm exactly the same, only with slightly more sophisticated-pet-programming skills?

Really nobody?
I'm not the biggest Agnes fan, and even I thought this was fantastic.

From the Rios thread-
While I liked Jurati's surprising sass, when she first came on board the Stagazer drunk, and especially her hysterical sarcastic curtsy and "may I" to Rios, as she on-point took over his ships ops.
This has quickly shifted as it becomes more about their personal (apparently disastrous) relationship.

Banter between him and Jurati already annoying.
I hope they drop that shtick fast.

And that they have better use for him, than some lame melodrama between them...
I just hope they resolve and move on fast, and this banter doesn't become some main bitter drama. Don't need either dragged down by it.
Keep him and her moved on, as when she first came on board, and her sassy -I got this-, attitude, is what I like to see.

I just can't help but lover her. I took an instant liking to her last season, even as we watched her be put through the wringer, and Alison Pill doesn't disappoint this year either, navigating herself through Jurati's wide spectrum of emotions with ease. She's been remarkably good at portraying someone with a plethora of crippling emotional issues as well as some really unhealthy coping mechanisms, be it her habitual use of self-deprecating humor, nervous babbling, stress-eating, and, as it turns out, suicidal ideation, that make it glaringly obvious how messed-up the character truly is.

At first, I half-jokingly dismissed her as Dollar Store Tilly due to how similar they seemed to be, but the more I think about it, the more I realize this similarity is really superficial. Granted, they're both energetic and socially awkward, but highly intelligent people who truly shine when having to quickly find solutions to technical problems, tend to babble whenever they're nervous, and are also played by actresses born a mere four months from each other. Still, while Tilly has been consistently portrayed as someone early on her journey making her first steps and searching for her place in the world with a mindset of all-encompassing optimism, Jurati is more like that classic archetype of the lonely woman in her thirties who can only be described as a hot mess, overwhelmed by her emotional issues that just keep piling up, and feeling like she's not in control of her own life. It might be me growing up, and now that I'm in my thirties myself, I'm finding her more and more relatable every day. Interestingly, Tilly, along with Burnham and, earlier, Bashir were characters I've related to because of their backstories, especially their childhoods, Jurati is the first character in Trek I'm drawn towards because of where she currently is emotionally. Maybe not as messed-up, but still, it feels quite familiar sometimes.

What bothers me about Jurati is that she just straight up murdered that dude (yeah, I know she was under mind control), and then like 20 minutes later she's getting it on with Rios.
Maybe that says more about Rios, but where I come from if you murder your ex, maybe hit pause on the relationship thing and reflect for a bit.

Well if she wasn't deranged enough merged with the Romulan Murder Admonition she casually wrote off as -huh, murder, that was weird, but I'm ok now.
- Now she's merged with the Bog Queen. I guess they want to go all-out psycho:wtf: with her. Then walk her back again
- Wow that was really, really weird huh, hope I didn't murder anyone I know this time, ddi I?
Rafi: Somebody check, where is Rios!?

She's going to be like the psycho Urkl of the Star Trek universe.

OK, I always figure out how story lines end long before it happens.
Dr. Jurati stole the Borg queen's location of the watcher.
Dr. Jurati speaks of something coming she doesn't yet understand.
I'm betting Dr Jurati becomes the new benevolent Borg queen who wants peace and negotiation. Remember how she was totally covered possibly so no one recognizes her. She also doesn't killl the crew, she stuns them. You heard it here first

Speculation at this point but the clues seem to hold:
Picard didn't break Agnes' connection with the BQ quickly enough. She was assimilated, as the episode title suggests, but the transformation is not immediate. It will take time to complete. That said, Agnes is the future Borg (from the Confederation timeline?) who calls for Picard and boards the Stargazer. Hence the mask; seeing her face would have revealed too much too soon.
