Best episode of nuTrek? Best episode since DS9 ended?

Having watched Picard’s season 2 premiere, it struck me that you could probably count the episodes that answer these questions on less than 10 fingers.

“The Star Gazer” is a very good candidate. While it isn’t a pure allegory driven episode like Discovery’s “But to Connect…” or pure campy fun like some of Enterprise’s mirror universe episodes, it’s a solid mix of action, character building, dialogue and mystery.

Okay so the range we've got to pick from is Equinox, Part II to The Star Gazer. That's exactly 250 episodes I think, so if I limit this to just the top 10% I can still list 25 episodes. Nah, that's going to be enough, I'm going to have to combine the 2 and 3 parters.
