Love the callback to Saru's line in the very first episode!
The episode looks very promising. It seems the A plot will be the crew exploring this strange planet that is connected to 10-C. I hope we get clues or revelations about 10-C. And then it looks like th B plot will be Book and Tarka infiltrating Discovery. Both plots could be exciting.
I don’t mind them being attached to the episodes, but I can see the annoyance for sure.
And while it’s not the same as putting them at the end of an episode, they do put them directly on StarTrek.com as well.

I could see how Tarka would be able to snag the mini spore drive, he was a trusted member of the science team at the time. How TF would he and Book be able to get onboard Discovery now at all?

Very true.
I'm surprised Discovery doesn't have Security Camera's in every room.
Just basic 2D Camera's that we have IRL, much less more advanced "Holo Camera's".
I'm not. Security is a joke in Starfleet.
He's the next best thing to Michael Burnham and he's got one of the Federation's top experts in basically everything with him.
It still doesn't look great for the Discovery crew, but at least it wasn't the Emerald Chain this time.
