I thought he was based on Lee Van Cleef from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

We already got to see what day-to-day bounty hunting is through Dyn, and in case that'd slipped people's mind, they gave a little refresher/overview just last episode. It was probably the same for Boba, more or less, just with slightly higher profile gigs.
The flashback I'm hoping for next episode is a cold opening showing a live action recreation of the unfinished "Cad/Boba showdown" scene from TCW.
Really enjoy this show and despite boba hardly featuring have enjoyed the last 2 episodes most.

Just FYI, it was on three years before TNG.
I actually watched it when it was on NBC back in the day on Fridays. As I recall it didn't even get a full season, and was cancelled pretty quick.
Lee Van Cleef was a western icon. I don't think he was well cast as an American Ninja.
I keep waiting for someone to digitally insert Lee Van Cleef into that showdown scene but haven't found one yet.

Io9's Jame Whitbrook pointed out that the scene where Sanctuary is blown up is the only scene set there where we don't see Max Rebo. I can't help but wonder if they did that on purpose, or if it was just a coincidence.
Max Rebo was obviously out promoting his new album.
Just how did Max get off of Jabba's Sail Barge anyway?
