Spoilers Season 2 Trailers, Previews, and Promos

FJqQUj-XoAAJYk-

I missed it in the last trailer, but, Raffi appears to be in a Sanctuary District.

What's interesting is I wonder how connected this is to DS9's Past Tense other than just being set in 2024 and showing a district, briefly. It was said on the DS9 DVD special features about the episode that the events we see in Past Tense were supposed to be one of the seeds planted that set humanity on a better path toward the Federation. Is the totalitarian depiction we've seen in the trailers a result of what happened to Earth if the events of that two-part episode played out differently? And not to get too political, but, I've seen it written and observed in various places over the last two years or so that as we approach the year Past Tense is set, the real world seems frighteningly accurate to what was shown in those episodes.

Federation ship phasers now have the NuTrek "pew pew" sound effect and the plasma cannon look from ENT.
Various times in the fourth season of Enterprise, the NX01 photonic torpedoes used the exact same sound effect as the quantum torpedoes fired by the Enterprise-E over two centuries later in First Contact. It should also be observed that on Discovery, Discovery, itself, and the Enterprise did use the correct phaser sound effect heard in TOS.

Bad CGI set extensions

It's a trailer. It's not uncommon for not-final CGI to make its way into a trailer. When these are edited together, the episodes are still going through the post-production process.

Answer now!;)

I raised these questions earlier today, but couldn't post pictures. Thanks for doing so. Here's what I said:
I think the big question here is:

"There are some moments that haunts us all our all lives, moments upon which history turns."

To which "moment" is Picard referring? I can't post pictures, but following that dialog, we see very quick flashes of:

1. Someone grabbing something on a chain (Jack Crusher's dog tags?)
2. A Brent Spiner character looking evil
3. Someone picking up a knife (could be 7?)
4. Picard and Laris in a moment
5. The Borg Queen

Are these thematically related, or just cool shots that have nothing to do with his statement?
Could the dog tags belong to Jack Crusher -- a flashback to a moment that "... haunts [Picard] all his life?"

So I'm going to make some predictions.

Picard needs to travel back in time to solve whatever problem exists with the new reality Q snapped Picard and his crew into.

Picard finds Guinan for guidance.

Then they find the Locked Up "Borg Queen" for a solution to Time Travel since Time Travel methods don't just grow on trees, they're HIGHLY guarded.

"Borg Queen" tells Picard about Light Speed BreakAway, but doesn't know the exact details of how to do it.

"Raffi" knows where to look in terms of where that kind of data would be hidden and encrypted. So she goes on her side quest to get that info.

Then they use the "La Sirena" to travel back in time via "Light Speed Breakaway" and go back to early 21st century (2024).

At least Earth "FINALLY" has planetary shields, but they use the overt design where it's visible instead of the invisible kind.

I think the overt shields are from the "bad" timeline that they somehow end up in.

You're probably right, but they didn't need to make them overt.

Some People forget that many of the Star Trek Shields from the 24th century are supposed to be invisible until you collide with it.

Forcefields have geometric shapes in them that are visible all the time since Disco started it. Protostar's shields also have that Disco look.
