Spoilers Season 2 Trailers, Previews, and Promos

I was not a big fan of the 200 copypasted Inquiry Class ships. This looks like a Nova an a Steamrunner. Much better!
That doesn't make the class any less real than the Nova or Steamrunner, they're equally fictional Starships lol

I agree with the criticism, of that scene, it's just your statement of them being any more 'real starships' is just silly IMO.

Haha holy shit, it's the Boxing poster that shows up in like every episode set in the 20th/21st centuries

I think the big question here is:

"There are some moments that haunts us all our all lives, moments upon which history turns."

To which "moment" is Picard referring? I can't post pictures, but following that dialog, we see very quick flashes of:

1. Someone grabbing something on a chain (Jack Crusher's dog tags?)
2. A Brent Spiner character looking evil
3. Someone picking up a knife (could be 7?)
4. Picard and Laris in a moment
5. The Borg Queen

Are these thematically related, or just cool shots that have nothing to do with his statement?

It was a decent trailer, but it depresses me how old Stewart, Goldberg, DeLancie, and Spiner looked. It's like watching a retirement home or something. It was nice to see a whole lot more ships (And a variety of ships) though.

Reused Discovery Vulcan ship. They're fighting other ships of the same design as La Sirena. Probably rebels of this alternate federation.

You must not be familiar with the TOS films....

Anyway, their age doesn't matter to me one single bit. Rather, it comforts me. We're all 30 years older than we were when TNG aired, and it's good to see our Trek friends along for the ride. We've all earned it. As Will Wheaton said once in a blog post: embrace your old age! It's awesome.
