News Playmobil USS Enterprise Playset

Yeah. Were it a proper LEGO set, you could at least easily change the height of the backrest on the command chair to go Mirror.

I would love a Lego one. I’ve got the Ultimate Falcon set and I would love a ultimate Enterprise

I love it. Wallet too light for it...

Now, I can see the 1/350 Round2 saucer going in the primary hulls place with some surgury to get it to look less bulbous....iin case you fiind a broken one at Ollies's

Round 2's early saucer had grid lines....I might put the upper and lower parts of this nice saucer on both top and bottom surfaces....

A new news article has been published at TrekToday:

This September, Playmobil will release their first Trek-themed toy, the USS Enterprise Playset. Here is the description of the large playset: “Where’s...

I'm Really happy about this! I was looking around for bridge playsets all week and happened upon the news of this. I liked the pictures too. Sure the scale is a little off, but it's Really so difficult to get a good Star Trek Playset. One I had from when I was 5 to 30, went from sales of $9 to where you're lucky to get it for under $800 now.

Apparently it has some lighting features, and interactive electronic elements "controlling" some of the model’s features, hence the higher price? Not saying it's justified, just pointing them out.

Hey you get all 7 main crew in one, not bad.

I like the engineering room, but wish they had found a way to include a mini shuttle, that fits a few figures.

This scale might actually have been more compatible with the old playmates"inner space" / "Strike Force" scale figures.

LOL I love Trekyards, but they sent a fun stylized toy, to the most easily frustrated, and always exhausted (even about the things he loves), person imaginable...

It definitely looks fun. Between materials, licensing and added features probably explains some of the price.

Maybe they will make a simpler saucer with no figures.. the old 1/350 gridded Round 2 saucers are about that size right?

I loathe putting stickers on things. I always put them on crooked. You can never redo them.
If I was paying all that money I expect them to already be on

I wonder...any chance of getting a Enterprise-D version of this?
Probably depends on how well this sells?
Their other franchise lines Scooby Doo, Ghost-busters and Back to the Future seem to have gotten follow up sets.
Yet none were as substantial as this one. I can imagine a few TOS themed playsets first, like:
- Amok Time Vulcan Arena.
- Guardian of Forever portal
- Transporter gimmick playset.
- Galileo Shuttle,
- War Bird - etc. before they move on to TNG

What's funny is besides the Playmates Innerspace Enterprise -D mini-set, Galoob had once prototyped essentially a similar clunky looking concept for their proposed figure line.
Would love to see it finally realized at Playmobil.
