The best kind of refit. Way better than the Excelsior.

Of course, that's also a piece of 2D artwork in universe as well, so no real info on the actual ships.
Jennifer the Andorian now has a last name, Sh'Reyan, which is consistent with Andorian naming conventions used in the novels. Which I guess Andorian naming conventions from the novels are now canon, at least to the point that that a last name starting with Sh is considered feminine.
the fourth actually: there are several small differences between the NX Excelsior we see in the third movie and the NCC Excelsior in the sixth.
Being an animated show, I tend to treat the visuals akin to the Star Trek comics. And they're always using the wrong ships, backgrounds, etc.

It's roughly similar, but not the same, based on comparing just 2 images. Could be another side of it, though.
A friend pointed out, and I checked and confirmed, there's a Muslim serving on the Cerritos. At the end of the scene in episode 9 where Boimler is trying to chat up and befriend Kayshon, you can very briefly see a female officer in gold uniform wearing a Muslim headscarf.
