Again, only able to see screen captures as supplied by Cygnus-X1.net.

Mariner's "Naked Time/Naked Now" simulation... One might suspect the creators are deliberately egging on the "Rule 34" illustrators! "Hey! Don't be shy. Shoot, we'll help get you started!" I never expected we'd ever see a butt naked T'Ana. :wtf:
Clearly, she likes Shaxs. In the simulator with the Naked Now scenario, she's climbing on him. In the lower decks bunks, she curls up next to him to go to sleep. I think it's cute.

In their stark grey ship.

I'm not sure it's THE official abbreviation but it's the one that makes the most sense. PRD might work but PGY gets the main letters into the acronym.

You know, I genuinely give LD props for making a Caitian character design that wasn't solely there for sex appeal. Given the nature of the show, a hot furry bait design in a stupidly skimpy non-Starfleet uniform wouldn't have been entirely out of place, but even in this comedy series the current writers are prioritizing characterization versus fap fodder. I can't say I'm mad about that.

That isn't to say there probably isn't a shit ton of Rule 34 of her out there

Fantastic episode after a teeny bit of a misfire last week. A 9 for me.

loved the simplified TOS style mirror uniforms, not the over designed Disco versions. The Naked Time simulation was hilarious. “WE GET PESTO”. And of course Kreig Borg Queen.

Even Boimler’s little “they took everything I was” was perfect.

Great fun. Gave this one a 10.
The set-up, the massive and funny lean in to referentialism (the Naked Time outing, in particular, was hysterical), the Pandronian's villainy and Boim's perfectionist ability to crush even the tilted Borg challenge he's given... and the final resolution where they exposed their "tester" as a big old fake was all just great. I loved that we got Alice Krige as the Borg Queen. Just thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this.

Very interesting that while we get the obligatory feel-good team and friendship message out of it, there's another subtle nod to trauma here. Last time it was Tendi pretending not to be traumatized by Rutherford's death fakeout, this time it's Boimler's clear trauma at the simulated Borg assimilation he's been put through that everyone else ignores. This actually feels in part like a reference to the old-timey "gather round and laugh" endings of TOS, but I also wonder if they aren't building toward something more specific.
Honestly?

I've had the same feeling and I'm certain it's building up to the abandonment issues Mariner's brought up more than once. This show was just so over the top that it feels like the calm before the storm. Granted, I use "storm" in the sense that my fellow Southern Californians do for the 3 days a year that we dust off our umbrellas, but there's a lot of baggage she still hasn't unpacked.

The music playing during Boilmer's borg simulation is mostly this track from TNG

Though they didn't credit Ron Jones in the episode.

It sounded like Kreig literally phoned in her lies. Still a fun episode. I especially enjoyed the steal the Cerritos test. I’m surprised it didn’t end in automatic failure by even attempting to steal the ship, surely no Starflert crew would ever do such a thing!

Interesting thought. There's also Rutherford learning about how Shaxs came back to life.
