The petulant child in me was upset all morning that a new Picard trailer didn't drop on Picard Day.
The reserved adult in me, this afternoon, is very much looking forward to the second season. I'm super curious as to how the season plays out. It seems to be an adventure through the alternate present like Yesterday's Enterprise by way of Tapestry, but is the whole season about that? The very cool present day highway promo image says to me that there are further time travel shenanigans, along with the imagery from the first trailer. Maybe this is Picard taking part in the temporal war, part of "the past" in Discovery, bringing the shows closer together narratively? And Q is actually there to oversee Picard's part in the war because he's annoying, rather than be the cause.
