Yeah...if you don't want to know what's in the Season 2 teaser, don't go in the Season 2 teaser thread. Not rocket science.

Just a matter of how much time they take up vs other storylines.

I'm presuming that all of the main cast are dropped into an alternate universe.
My big question is...how does Soji exist?
I mean, even presuming that we're just seeing the "prime" memories dumped into "alters" - the happenstance of her existence seems to be easily butterflied away if Maddox and Soong don't go into hiding.

I thought it was just common curtesy.

I assume the freeways were reworked to achieve the "arrowhead" effect. :-)
Maybe they realized that Trek would feel out of place in 40 years (2063, and it's very possible Trek is still around then as Star Trek the Motion Picture came out 40 years ago after all) and doing a much needed "timeline reboot" where all of Trek is shifted to an unspecified date much farther into the future, to still be relevant to audiences.
And there were rumors that Patrick didn't like the "Picard is a synth" story, so nothing fixes that faster than Q shifting Picard to an alternate timeline where he's still in his original body, then after the timeline's repaired Picard's still in his original body.
I always took a spoiler to be something not in wide release.......a publicly posted teaser doesn't qualify in MY mind anyway. But just in case people start talking rumours and leaked things.......it's there.

Can’t be any worse than season one. Looks like they are just dropping that whole “Reaper” story. Must have got a cease and desist from EA.
