It's annoying as hell but I can't complain, because she ends up trimming part of our side of the yard, too.
Idiot drivers
eeks, those are nasty. We occasionally have them in our streams and springs but fortunately they are rather rare and none are in our ground water.
Argh today: the janitor of the office next door got a new lawn mower truck which apparently has an aeroplane motor. I just took a reading: at a distance of 60 yards and with closed windows the noise level at my desk is 76 db.
My industrial-strength ear protectors reduce that to 40 db but it's still extremely annoying. Particularly since he perfected his method to take more than 2 hours to cut down 200 square yards of grass.
I am soooo tempted to sabotage the vehicle.
I feel your pain, one of our neighbours has a ride on mower and seems to love just riding around on it. It seems to take far longer for him to cut his grass than it takes me with a standard mower which might be ok except our gardens are roughly the size.
Maybe the ride ons don't cut as well as a regular mower. Our local council uses those a lot for things like the park which is across the road and you see them there quite often doing the grass on a fairly regular basis.
Pokemon Go updates. They're damn space hogs. It's gotten to the point where I'm going to have to delete the game. Can't move it to my SD card to free up some space and the game playing that I have to do in order to free up space is ridiculous.
Whatever happened to the days when programmers were good and actually able to write tight code that could fit in small spaces?
People also really need to learn to use their turn signals, on my bike rides I'm constantly having people turn in front of me when they never had a turn signal. I just stop anytime I see anybody slowing down as they get near a turn, so luckily I haven't gotten had to many close calls. There was one person who turned the signal on as they were turn, which doesn't really help, since the whole point of the signal is to warn people before you turn.Idiot drivers. Of the 5 cars I came across driving home this night
1.>One Ran not one but two red lights
2.>One overtook me when I was at the speed limit
3.>One doesn't seem to having working indicators

Just as warning, there is some stuff people might find offensive in the next part of this post, and I mention rape.
Sometimes I'm embarrased to be a guy. A few days ago, a model and horseback rider I follow, Erin Williams, was sharing some of the sick shit guys message her on social media, like guys talking about how they want to be her saddle, and one guy asked to buy her used riding panties.
Then this afternoon my mom showed me a video of male volunteers reading the absolutely horrible shit that other guys were tweeting to female sports journalists. One had apparently talked about she had been raped, so some guy tweeted to her that she should be raped again, and another one had someone tell her that he wanted her to get hit in the head with a hockey puck and die. And these were apparently just motivated by the fact that they are female sports journalists, and nothing more.
I just don't get how other guys can do that kind of shit.
Because sports. It's a male world women shouldn't be reporting on sporting events unless it's the females competing and nothing more, and nothing less. Women can't talk about male sports they're not qualified is one I was told.
I suspect many if not most who hold that opinion have no qualification to back up that opinion and likely have never played sports since they left education, besides if they think they can do better why aren't they a sports commentator? They'll also hold the opinion that it's ok for men to report on women's events but as you say the reverse isn't true.
I think I might have the opposite, I'm always nervous I'm gonna accidently say something to offend people.Because they lack decency, empathy, have no verbal/written filter etc..
