Let's put any misconceptions about the demographics of DSC Fans to rest once and for all.
Pretty self-explanatory.

What if I like parts of it a lot, and other parts not at all, but like it enough to keep watching overall? XD
Put me in this camp. Is that "in the middle"?What if I like parts of it a lot, and other parts not at all, but like it enough to keep watching overall? XD
Probably that the fanbase is composed of kids with short attention spans who like the pew pew. What are the misconceptions about the demographics of Discovery's fanbase?

Guilty as charged. I await sentencing...We'll prove here once and for all that plenty of middle age people have short attention spans and like the pew pew!
I don't actually think the 30s are "middle-aged", especially these days, but that's an argument for another time.I would expect most Discovery fans to be middle aged Star Trek fans, because I don't think Discovery is making any new fans.
I suspect most PIC/STD fans are just remnants of the older pre-existing fanbase.
It's making plenty. Most cosplays and custom merch and that you see online are people of the younger side of things.I don't think Discovery is making any new fans.
That has not been my experience.I would expect most Discovery fans to be middle aged Star Trek fans, because I don't think Discovery is making any new fans.
