In my “head cannon” Ferengi women are in charge of education and all non profit making activities in Ferengi society (for example, caring for the sick and destitute).
I would like my “head cannon” to be as consistent with actual cannon as possible so if you know something from a cannon source (for example a cannon novel) that contradicts my view please tell me about it.

That's somewhat contradicted by "A Man Alone", where Rom makes it explicitely clear that Nog wouldn't want to learn from a woman, implying it's uncommon on Ferenginar. He and Keiko also describe the Ferengie education as follows, so there isn't much traditional learning involved.

Nice example. I wonder how old Nog was at that time. When Rom talked about throwing kids into the cutthroat world of Ferengi economics, I assume that he didn’t mean toddlers. I guess that toddlers are taught by women. Perhaps Nog was too old to be taught by women.
how? in an advanced society you usualy do that by donating some sort of currency. they don't have any. if their husbands gave them money they would make a profit, wouldn't they?
if they sold their jewelry (quark's mother got quite some) to make a donation they'd make a profit first.

This leaves some room for speculation.
For example, what rules do women in Ferengi society observe?
The Rules of Acquisition do not apply to them.
What rules do they live by? Who makes these rules? How are these rules enforced?
