12/10 Disney Investor Presentation to reveal "significant expansion" of Star Wars Universe

According to The New York Times (link leads to IGN story), during today's investor presentation Disney is supposed to be reveal a "significant expansion" of the Star Wars universe. There doesn't appear to be any word on what it is, but the presentation is supposed to reveal new content for Disney+, so I'd say there is a pretty good chance at least some of that will be Star Wars stuff.
The fact that this is happening so close to the introduction of both Boba Fett and Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, makes me wonder if we might be getting an announcement of at least one of their rumored spin-offs.

I'm not going to sit through it but in case you're interested, it just started and here's a direct link to the presentation.

Anything interesting should show up on sites like IGN and Io9, so I'm not going to bother watching it. I'm surprised it's open to the public like that, I had assumed stuff like that was private just for the big money investors.

Not even sure it will be worth a view. I watched a bit and it looks as though we may not get a lot of the trailers and things. They had a sizzle reel that wasn’t shown on this stream instead showing a countdown. Annoying.

And we have our first bits of new Star Wars information, we are getting and Ahsoka show and a "Rangers of The New Republic" series. Andor is going to run 12 episodes, started filming 2 weeks ago and is coming in 2022.
They also announced earlier that over the next few years we will be getting 10 new Star Wars shows.

Interesting to see that having stuffed up (if profitably) overdoing the SW movies, they've decided to do the same with the TV stuff.

Yay ! Overkill...

11 new Projects? Which Droid? (best guess, R2-D2 going by the font of the "A"). A High Republic show? A New Republic show? A Japanese project animation?

They said 10 and that's 10, so that will probably be it for a while.
Rangers of the New Republic is our new Republic show, and The Acolyte is an Old Republic show.

Ah, I was counting titles and didn't notice that one of the 11 was the Mandalorian series continuation banner.
