The point is, it is not called Far From Home (Part 2). It is just called Far From Home. Also, the season finale is called Outside.

The first episode was called Part 1, but this season has no episode with the same or a different name and then Part 2 in brackets except for episodes 9 and 10 which are called Terra Firma (Part 1) & (Part 2).

This. The multi-part episodes of DS9 with different titles don't have "part 1" etc. in the names at all.

I'm currently thinking that part 2 of this is being reserved for the title of a short trek, or a linked episode of a different series.

Another trek show did that. The final episode was part 2 of the first. I think Burnham goes back to Hima for some reason, maybe back in time to not set the suit to self destruct in a wormhole.
