Can’t wait to see what they’re going to do with all the Uruk-hai, orcs and trolls in Lord of the Rings, who are all technically actors in blackface. Thank God they didn’t use dark elves! 
That show won't ever be made. Almost nothing interesting is going to be made for a few years because you just can't do it in this political climate. People want their shows preachy and on message. It's just going to be characters holding hands and embracing how awesome they are as people.

I think Beavis and Butthead will work because it still stars the main characters. The Daria one focuses on Jodie but to me that seems pointless. I want more Daria Morgendorffer. I do want to see the other characters as well but Daria is the star and main attraction. I would be interested in seeing the show adapted to 2020 where they are still in high school but I also kind of like the idea of seeing them all grown up as well.
