One thing is for sure: this Seven isn't ending up with Chuckles. I wonder if he joined the Rangers? Did any of the Voyager Maquis?

And the Maquis were pretty much on the ropes when Voyager left.
By the time she got back home they were probably just a memory.

The Maquis on Voyager may have just been happy to get home, and so avoided getting mixed up in galactic politics. Maybe they began resettling old Maquis worlds, I don't know. I hope so.

It’s nice to see all these TNG era characters mAke a comeback. Still looking forward to seeing the Rikers. It’s crazy we’re already halfway through the first season.

I'm not gonna lie. Seeing Icheb die was one of the biggest surprises in Trek in about 15 years.
He might put on a good face but I wouldn't be shocked if he takes it as a personal slight. His politics and attitudes aren't exactly the kind that endear him to the wider Trek fanbase.
Yeah it was shocking. we know he joined Starfleet but what about Naomi Wildman did she join as well and if so did they both serve aboard the Coleman?
This is the first episode I've watched twice right away.
That alone gets it at least a Seven of Nine.
