Had to drop him off at the vet this morning; had been worried about him for hours. Just heard back that he was awake and doing fine. He had a large growth removed from his backside that will sent off for analysis, and also had his teeth cleaned. They thought he might need two teeth pulled but decided it wasn't that bad after x-rays. No teeth got removed--it was just a thorough teeth and gum cleaning. So Junior will have a sore mouth and a sore butt.

I am very relieved. I'll pick him up in few hours---and pay the monstrous bill. *cringe*
