Things that frustrate us all

^Definitely something more than frustration with us all in that, auntiehill.

Mine is much less than that. Aura level migraine while trying to fix up the water slide on top of the school Big Toy.

Another frustration... when banking/credit sites keep having "Technical error, please try again later" errors when you are trying to take care of stuff on your account. You would think this stuff would have been fixed by now. :brickwall:

DHL :brickwall: :censored:

I sent 4 samples to labs all over Europe. Express and by air mail. Two arrived.
#3 has been in the custom's clutches for 24 hours now and my colleague in serbia has just started on his quest to liberate it.
#4 should have gone from Bavaria to Switzerland. No prob, really, since the countries border each other. Still, DHL managed to send the parcel not southwest but first northeast to the Polish border, then straight west to Amsterdam (NL) and there we lost the trace yesterday morning at 3 am. What is especially annoying is that this particular sample is meant for DNA analysis and requires constant cooling. Fortunately, the weather in the Netherlands was rather cold yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if by now the parcel was on its way to Brazil or Australia.
So if you happen to find a stray white styro box, 31 x 18 x 19 cm large and 770 g heavy, please report it to the closest DHL curier. I think a bar of Swiss chocolate is sure to be the minimum reward set by the colleagues in Geneva.

Playground politics on my doorstep. Children, primary children, arguing and exchanging insults in my garden. My own children have an astonishing armoury of put downs.

Stupid idiot moron imbecile poo poo head, for instance.

that does frustrate the battery replacement time .. my current frustration is something of a personal nature (i guess) but having to wake up from good dreams .. or get out of bed at some point during the day or something like that.. very frustrating change is..

Been having problems with my tablet; the battery won't hold a charge. Hubby said he would fix it-- by resetting it. It wiped out everything -- even the two games I'd been playing for over a year--had almost 1500 levels completed in one of them. I tried to reinstall the game and all the data was wiped out. I'm not going to start all over now.

Doesn't seem to have fixed the problem either.

Ouch. Sorry. :(

I've seen bottled water go for $7 at baseball games. :wtf:

There was definitely some price gouging going on there. This was in St. Louis, where the summers are often brutal (I remember going to computer camp there, in the summer of '84, and I got rather sick from the heat).

Woodstock 99 has $4 for water, and it was 100 degrees, and you couldn't drink the free water because the portopotties overflowed and leeched into the pipes.
