Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

Hmm, so I wonder if the current CW shows might stay on Netflix for a while then? That article and one on IGN did list The CW as one of the sources of content, but this seems like it's only emphasizing those two as exclusive to HBO Max.
I imagine that CW will allow the current contract with Netflix to run its course before pulling its content. That's what everybody else is doing.

OK cool. I figured even they stayed on temporarily, they'd probably pull them in a year or two when the contract ran out.

Well this friggin sucks! I doubt HBO Max will come to the Netherlands and even if it did, I am seriously NOT paying for a new streaming service for one show I might not even like.

*EDIT* Ok might be lucky.... Since HBOMax is US only, some stuff will go to other streamingservices internationally. For example, here in the Netherlands Friends WILL remain on Netflix. So, perhaps Batwoman on HBOMax is for the US only, and internationally we might see different streamingservices picking up the show.

Hopefully, Netflix (or more likely Sky) will pick it up for the UK.

One thing I've noticed in one of my usual holiday haunts is that Netflix in that country only had Arrow (fairly up to date), but missed all the other cross over episodes:(

First reviews are coming in. Joblo isn't so positive. It touches a few points in the review that had me worried, but as always, I will keep an open mind and hopefully I can watch it myself soon enough. I really enjoyed Batwoman in the crossover, but where I feel the other ArrowVerse shows are really doing a pretty good job with representation, the trailers for Batwoman make it feel a bit forced and almost a sellingpoint instead of it simply being part of the show.

Than again, those were only trailers for ONE episode, not the entire show. So I'm still curious.

IGN has posted their review, and gave it a 6.7/10. Their main issues with it are that it does a lot of stuff we've already seen in the other Arrowverse shows, and they didn't care for Rachel Skarsten's Alice.

and the fuckwits can't help it with their braindead comments and don't seem to comprehend that Batwoman\Kate Kane has always been gay,

unless they really are that pathetic and looking to troll.

Are you talking about the comments or the article itself?
Because I believe Joshua Yehl, who wrote the review, is one of their comic book reporters, so I'm pretty sure he knows that Kate Kane has always been gay.

IGN said:
In the midst of these changes comes Batwoman, the first new live-action Arrrowverse series in several years, and the first to star an LGBT hero.

Uhh, Sara Lance, anyone? She may not be top-billed, but she's been the undeniable lead character of Legends for years now.

As neat as it is seeing the actress who once played Black Canary in 2002's Birds of Prey go full-villain

Multiple articles are getting this wrong, not that I can blame them, given how confusing it was. Rachel Skarsten didn't play Black Canary/Dinah Lance on BoP; she played the codename-less psychic Dinah Redmond, the biological daughter of Black Canary/Carolyn Lance.

Joshua didn't write the article.

The comments in response the article.
