Contest: ENTER May 2019 Art Challenge - Treasure Map

It's May already (how did that happen so quickly?)! A brief sojourn to Wikipedia tells me that May's birthstone is the emerald. Ah, ha! Precious stones! Treasure!

So, I thought this month we could try our hands at map making. But not just any old map - a Trek treasure map! Maybe a map like the ones featured in Romancing the Stone, or The Goonies but filled with Trek terms ("Here be Gormaganders" and the like)? Or something more futuristic in keeping with the era of Star Trek of your choice, like an okudagram?

However you decide to do it, the challenge is to create a star chart, geographical map, floor/deck plan etc. that promises a Trek treasure or secret to whoever successfully navigates its course.

As always, here are the rules (from the Art Challenge Guidelines):

• the artwork you submit should be created during the month of the challenge
  
• only one final image can be submitted (although it may contain multiple views)
• your final entry should be posted in this thread (although dedicated WIP threads are appreciated)

I've just realised that I didn't include the submission deadline in the original post, so, for anyone new or unsure, please post your finished (or "that'll do", if you're anything like me ) Star Trek treasure map here by midnight on Friday 31st May. I'll put up the voting thread on Saturday which will run for 3 days (so we can get a good start on June's Art Challenge).

 

Not long to go now for those of you still working on (or have yet to start ) your maps. If anyone needs a bit of extra time, just let me know.

Oh, wow, @SCE2Aux, you did it! That's an amazing map - especially so given the time constraints. I love that you've incorporated your beautiful little Trilobite, and I like how you've got the years fading away into the future.
