Spoilers Season 2 Trailer

2. Explain the plot of Voyager.
Can't, not after ENT-D goes at Warp 10 and travels to another galaxy. Or original Enterprise travels outside the galaxy a couple of times, or to the galaxy's core a couple of times without issue.

Voyager's plot has been problematic long, long, before Discovery.

Mudd forgetting about spore drive technology
Mudd went a bit mad. Time Travel will do that.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

1. Assume for a moment that they don't destroy the spore network without destroying all life in multiple universes as has been suggested thus far.

2. Explain the plot of Voyager.

Similarly, DS9 was clear that Earth had not seen foreign militaries at her door (especially Klingon ones) since the founding of the Federation, not counting the "Borg scare".

Which word specifically? I used a lot of them?

I'm sure the spore drive issue will be explained, but even if it isn't I don't really care that much. My enjoyment of Voyager isn't going to change.

The comment in DS9 is open to interpretation. It's shown in Discovery that the Klingons were close to reaching earth but were not in orbit like the borg cube was. It works for me.

Just out of curiosity, it's been a really long time since I've seen it so I barely remember it at all, but wouldn't the Martok in Homefront have been the Founder? Why would a Founder know about a century-old skirmish that lasted a few months and was brushed under the rug by both involved governments?

But even if it is the real Martok. Nothing about his background suggests he'd have knowledge of specifics of the conflict, which, again, people seem to be greatly over-inflating the lasting impact based on no evidence whatsoever.

Which again goes to what I was saying about character omniscience. People are conflating their own as fans for the characters'. The mirror universe thing is the perfect example.

As far as I remember (Again, it's been a long while.) Kira's knowledge was all given to her by Intendant Kira, who obviously had a distorted view. Spock's crossover was a pivotal moment in MU history. However, Disco's crossover was done under the complete vail of subterfuge and secrecy. No one even knew who they were until Burnham told Mirror Georgiou and friends--whom she all quickly dispatched. There was one left around to remember.

So the implication Indenant Kira not knowing about said events is a violation attributes knowledge to her should couldn't possibly know.

I like the way you "Reach".

Not to mention that the actual first crossover was the USS Defiant in The Tholian Web, which Enterprise retconned as first contact between the prime and mirror universes. Why aren't people getting their sphincters bent out of shape over that?

Cause Empress Hoshi made sure only she remembered anything about it.

Because Enterprise is a beloved series that fits perfectly with established continuity...

I know. I was shocked too.

Find out in the newest TNG Episode Qspiracy. ;)

Except the Discovery crew found out about it when they stole they downloaded the mirror universe hard drive which came from a rebel ship. So she clearly didn't do that good of a job.

Why don't TOS phasers show the different lights on top to indicate each setting?
Looking at my Diamond Select TOS Phaser replica, it's because the settings are numbered 1 through 10 rather than being differentiated by light.

1 is gentle numbness. (Voyager phasers loved this setting.)
2 is slow down stun. (think Professor Crater.)
3 is regular stun.
4 is stunning
5 is knockout stun.
6 is wide birth stun.
7 is kill.
8 is kill kill.
9 is kill but not really.
10 is this guy is a pile of ashes now.

:D

Someone needs the adapt the episodes into novels. Might work better for some.
Speaking of which, they haven't done the pilot as a novel yet. The others all had that treatment.

Unless you're playing STO...
In which case, 8 to 10 are VAPORIZE!!!
