Have you done the Workbee one as well? If you have, I've probably seen it, but my memory is so bad that I can't recall having done so
- I'd forgotten about the DS9 one (I was remembering the original). I hadn't seen your own design before, though - But it's now my favourite!
I'm sorry I've never commented on the work you've presented here. I've always been fascinated and a little intimidated by people's abilities to composite images in 2d. I've honestly never taken the time to learn properly, but I would like to, someday. You produce great results. Kudos! I'll have to explore your site further than I have in the past.
Wow, your Betazed logo is stunning! I've never seen a logo for Betazed before - is it one you found, or one you created yourself?
Oh, yes! There seem to be a couple of versions: one a plainer version of yours, and the other without the red disc in the centre. I prefer yours/the one with the disc. The little icon in the middle reminds me of a castle, but I wonder what it is supposed to represent?
I do seem to remember reading one (or a few) of your posts about trying to find/use only the canon logos, yes. And I can't believe I never put two and two together, i.e. Holy Rings of Betazed = rings in the logo. D'oh! I wonder if the icon is actually a representation of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx (even though it looks much more impressive than a mouldy old pot)?
That Ariel insignia has long been one of my favorites from TAS. Nice work. Also, really appreciating (as I often do revisiting pages for updates) the Ten Forward Signage. Nice look on that one.
I like the door logos was more to my point. And I do appreciate all the hard work you have put in to these so I can't imagine trying to keep track of every single update done in a month. I just cruise through and state my appreciation of a piece new or not
Yeah, that's actually a tough one. You want them both in focus, but depth of field would be the best way to show that they're at different distances from the camera...
Yeah, but the point is that there's a lack of visual cues to indicate otherwise. For instance, the windows are comparable in size, making them seem like they're similar distances from the camera. Also, because the wormhole is slightly blurry (probably because the only obvious source is from a Standard Definition screenshot of the show) and the station and the ship are very sharp by comparison, it creates the impression of a depth of field effect with the both the ship and the station at roughly the same focal point. Not trying to knock your wallpaper. For anyone not trying to nitpick it to death, it's perfectly fine. After all, the docking ring is basically impossible to dock with if you don't have a front-mounted docking port, so who really cares anyway?
I appreciate you maturity. I was a little worried I was a little too honest. Your logos are very impressive. Did you design any original logos?
Wow. That's some incredible detail, especially the "Survived a Mortal Wound" one. It reminds me of the Tantalus Colony design.
