Captain’s Table Novels You’d Like See

I feel like the Vanguard stuff has been covered enough for now. I wouldn't mind seeing some stuff with Jellico.
I would also agree with doing a Lorca book.

No offense to the Captain Robeau fandom, but before encountering it online I had literally no clue that the guy at the beginning of ST09 even had a name...

We need more Robau. Other than comic flashbacks, he’s only been referred to in the Kirk biography, IIRC.

He’s not been in STO or any novels yet. Maybe we get another chance in DSC if the CBS\Viacom merger goes through.

Ah, so he is the remarkably unremarkable guy who got skrewed at the beginning of the film then.

It all started when Faran Tahir described his character as "badass" way back in a 2008.

And then the movie came out and the character didn't live up to the months of Internet hype, since he didn't really do anything except surrender and get killed. The lingering affection for Robau has more to do with what fans hoped he'd be (or perhaps with their fondness for Faran Tahir as an actor) than what he actually did in the movie.

Still, if they ever get the license squared away and can include Bad Robot elements it would be interesting to see a novel (or even series) on the USS Kelvin in the prime timeline, had there been no Narada incursion.

Wasn't it announced that they could reference stuff from bad Robot products now?

^ Yep.

And here's what I'd like to see in Captain's Table:

- Lorca.
In fact I'd love it if both versions of Lorca could turn up and actually meet each other!
- Saru
- Terrell
- Killy
- Cornwell
- Georgiou (prime version only; I'm sick to bloody death of the MU version)
- Robau
- Matt Decker
- Ron Tracey
- Bob Wesley
- Braxton ("Relativity")

One other thing - I'd really like an explanation as to what exactly the hell this "Mak Dav Al" thing means (from the David Gold story).

And I wouldn't half mind an actual origin story for the Captain's Table itself...

I like to see Captain Table books with stories for T'pol and Malcom Reed standalone books.

Eh, we were due to get our own Boba Fett sooner or later. Why should Star Wars get to have all the fun of having a character whose coolness is entirely fan-invented?
