The MOST Disliked Episode of VOYAGER - Season Six...

This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am very curious to see the results.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, wait six hours and leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I have two episodes that are my absolute favorites of season six. I am torn on which one to save first.

"TINKER TENOR DOCTOR SPY" was such a hilarious episode, and one of the most fun to watch... especially that teaser with The Doctor singing about Tuvok. (When I met Robert Picardo for the first time, he actually sang that Vulcan aria with me. It was awesome!)

"BLINK OF AN EYE" is an amazing scifi concept, mixed perfectly with mythology... a Joe Menosky staple. I loved the entire episode from start to finish.

I have to make "BLINK OF AN EYE" my first save, simply because of it being such a standout concept.

If no one saves my other one within 6 hours, that will be my next save.

I just saw "Pathfinder" for the first time last year, and what a great find, after all this time. Really powerful & moving at the end. I love that day-to-night transition in the framing sequences with Troi at Barclay's apartment.

Thank you, Blue Stuff.

However, I am torn between two episodes for my next save. "ONE SMALL STEP" was a great tribute to astronauts and the space program, because I have always felt astronauts are among the most heroic people ever. They go to an environment that is 100% against not just human life, but pretty much ALL life from Earth. And they do it just to expand our knowledge. They are explorers at heart, and I love how this episode shows that with Lt. John Kelly.

My other one is "MEMORIAL". Brilliant concept, and very well acted all around. This one has always been a rewatch for me.

I will save "MEMORIAL" this time. If no one saves my other one within 6 hours, that will be next save.

@Farscape One, @cosmic mouse, I will save you some trouble, because "One Small Step" is my absolute favorite of Season Six, and one of my favorite VOY episodes, period. Phil Morris's wonderful John Kelly made me cry, steadfastly pursuing his mission even in the face of death. And when Seven told the late astronaut, "The Yankees, in six games," well, that was another lump in the throat, because we saw then that she got it. Oh hell yeah!

Looking at this list I am realizing "wow, I am NOT into Voyager season 6." Only one remaining title triggers true positive associations -- "Ashes To Ashes." The retconning is a HUGE problem, but if you can imagine that's not happening, it's a good episode. The reproduction through corpse reanimation is a cool sci-fi concept.

LIVE FAST AND PROSPER: It's a fun episode and also for the first time the doctor thinks about hiding the portable emitter. Something I am proud to say I thought of from the beginning. If a hologram is a combination of light and forcefields then why not use some of these forcefields to protect the emitter, the same way a ship uses forcefields to protect itself? One thing that is puzzling though: Why would a hologram be out of breath!!!??? Especially since we see later the doctor running without ever getting tired.

Cosmic Mouse, I will save you the trouble of saving "SURVIVAL INSTINCT". I thought it was a great episode. Well acted by Jeri Ryan and all the guest cast. And it was Ronald D. Moore's only solo script for the series, and a well written one. The ending is sad and happy at the same time.

I really wish Moore didn't have that falling out with Braga. VOYAGER needed him, to be honest.

I will vote for "Good Shepherd." I really liked Janeway's love interest, he was a great guest star. A solid, fun episode with some good acting. I think there are still some excellent episodes left on the list, and a few real stinkers.
