I cringed seeing it in scene.
To each their own. Felt very nice, and a casual look that Star Trek has needed for a while. Why not have fun with it?
It's that gimmicky feel again, when the production winks to the audience.

That's classier, even more subtle. Logos are so 21st Century marketing. Be on the look out for next episode where Tilly will be wearing Discovery pjs that you can buy online with a free set of steak knives thrown in if you buy two pair.

I appreciate the fact that DISCO is just something fun, while IDIC was designed to promote an upcoming business. That was its whole point, regardless of philosophy behind it.
I can imagine the DISCO shirts being something Tilly made for her and her one and only friend on their morning run, maybe not standard issue ship wear.

I bought a shirt. I go to conventions so add some leggings and running shoes and you have the cheapest accurate Starfleet uniform.
I'd love to have one of these...but postage, customs duty, import tax and handling fees push the price up to nearly $50 to get one on this side of the pond.

I bought the official shirt and was a little disappointed, it is cotton and doesn't wash too well. Then I found a shirt in the UK that isn't the official one, it is WAY better. Even with the shipping to Florida it was around the same price as the official one so for you guys in the UK it will be cheap. Here it is http://www.milspectees.com/t-shirts/235-star-trek-discovery-disco-t-shirt.html I think they also do a female fit one.I have seen the official t-shirts on the Star Trek website, I don't mind paying $26 but I do begrudge paying $15 for postage to the UK. Does anyone know of any website in the UK where I can get the official t-shirt?
