Anybody excited for season 7 of "American Horror Story?"

From what I understand the new season is going to take place during and maybe after the 2016 election between Trump and Clinton. Sounds kind of intriguing. I am kind of disapointed that Kathy Bates isn't coming back and i'm not certain about some of the other long time cast members. I know Sarah Paulsen and Evan Peters re back for sure though and that is a good thing. Also I hear one of the "Scream Queen" characters will be on the show and that might be Billy Lourd who is going to be on the show for certain.

I enjoyed last season overall, though one of the later episodes crossed into torture porn territory IMO (the staking). I'll definitely give it a try.

I just hope it has more supernatural elements than the disappointing Freak Show season. "Cult" doesn't sound very supernatural on first impression.

What I find interesting is how it will focus on the 2016 election. I always enjoy watching fictional stories mix together with real life stuff whether it be something like "Titantic" or "Dick" or "The Watchmen." Also I am thinking we might see a return of that anti-christ child from season 1 as a means of explaining the rise of Trump. Perhaps this cult worships the child and having Trump win is part of their worship.

Well, I'm already more interested in it than I was with last season... I love how they are taking political extremes from BOTH sides and showing how asinine they can be. Count me in so far!

Also, I found it kind of strange that it was on so early... And that there was no bleeping of the "F" word.. Bad language doesn't bother me, but it was on at 8pm (mountain time) and to hear "FUCK" used to often at that time was kind of weird..

Yeah, I guess they can definitely say fuck now on basic cable.
This was a pretty good start, and I think it's already better than last season was. I fell behind again last season, and I don't think I'm even going to bother finishing it up on Netflix. I do plan on going back to Coven, and Hotel though.
So are the clowns real or not?
I'm still trying to figure out exactly what Winter and Evan Peter's character's relationship is.

I was wondering the same thing regarding the clowns. If not, then who drove the old ice cream truck to the murder-suicide house? Although, maybe the clowns just represent the character's subconscious fears & anxiety. Maybe, it was just a murder-suicide...probably not. The grocery store interior looked like it was set in the '70s or '80s. I thought back to my own boyhood being in a store like that.

I kept thinking it looked like the interior from Guy's Grocery Games. LOL...
