The 22cm 1701-D is going to be one penny shy of £50 -- I'll pass unless I can get a good discount.

The photos appear to disguise whether the saucer edge windows have been rendered or whether they're missing as they are in the smaller model. Not getting an urge to splurge on this one...
Same price as the jumbo TOS Enterprise. You can save a fiver with code EAGLEMOSS10.

Shuttlebays 2 and 3 look the same size, which is wrong. Was the small version the same?

£45 is still too too much for what is still quite a small model. Yes, the shuttle bays are the same size on the small model as well. I'm going to pass.

I'm not fan enough of the D to get it soon. The E is defo gonna be mine, though. Can't wait.

The Enterprise-D one of my favourites and I'd love a quality model of her. The Eaglemoss version is still a lot cheaper than the larger DST one...

I'll wait for some better pics and reviews before deciding.

I was hoping the website would let you use multiple promo codes at once, but sadly it only let's you use one. So £44.99 is the best I can do.

Yeah... it's still a fair amount. I was expecting around £30, maybe a little more than the price the specials.

I mean regular issues and models are £10/11. And this is fives times more than that. So is it five times bigger? No.
The site says the original D model was 5 inches long, and this is 8.5... so it's 70% bigger and 400% the price.

Hmm...

Just got an email that the jumbo Enterprise-D is available in the US for preorder, shipping in late July. Once you view it on the website it says $74.95 and states item is not eligible for promo codes.

Hmm, maybe. Doesn't exactly equate to how they worked out the price for the Shuttles given their size, then does it?
The shuttles are overpriced enough to ignore. I'm happy enough to have a set of Enterprises although I didn't bother about the J. The scaled-up errors on the bigger D mean that I won't bother with it either.

@King Daniel Beyond posted a link about the production of the NX-326 model in the USS Franklin thread. Model-making ain't easy.

Btw, received email that issues 100 and 101 have been shipped, along with the 98 (Rhode Island) replacement I requested. One of my colleagues, a craftsman, was able to fix mine (couldn't close gap at the rear end) but it's a cool ship to have a pair off. Also, saw ISS Defiant in Forbidden Planet Manchester. They also still have jumbo-1701, Jellyfish and Arctic One.

I just purchased 4 of the Eaglemoss ships this weekend, looking forward to starting my collection. Is there a site that has a complete listing of releases?
