I think a lot of Christians get bullied when it's not their fault other people have issues. It's up to Christians to offer compassion and to try and help but one can only do so much, the rest is on yourself. What *you* make of yourself.. becoming bitter is redundant.

77% of the US is Christian. That persecution is made up to sell commercial airtime on the radio (do you really think Rush Limbaugh does it for free? He makes millions of dollars every year.) and get votes of people who don't have two brain cells to rub together.

Do some damned research and realize you're being used.

Matthew 19:24 - "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

Why are all these "Christians" so eager to make as much money as possible here, even going against Jesus in their treatment of the poor, when it clearly states that a rich person can't get into heaven? Could it be they are using your ignorance against you?

Most of my issues are directly caused by Christians trying to force their bigotry on me. They could actually help me by minding their own business and not telling me how to live, like how Jesus actually told you to do. You may have heard of him, he's the guy whose teachings have been perverted by your religion.

But I guess you'll see this as bullying you. Silly me, I thought I had a right to live.

They call it religious freedom, but it only applies to Christians. Anyone else getting rights is tyranny since only Christians are valid humans. Eventually they'll round up and execute all the undesirables, sorry send them to God so he can judge them. Then they can be truly free.

Well we know Jesus wasn't vegan or vegetarian as he fed the multitude with five loaves and two fish. Piscatarian possibly...
Although he ate at the Passover festival and that would usually include sheep or goat meat.

But yeah, even if he didn't know he was waking up he knew he was going to be with his Father. Still, the torture.

I assume they just wrung the dove's necks.. or if blood was needed decapitated them.

I still wonder? In his mind, couldn't he have been laying on a tropical beach somewhere? Or simply turned off his nerve endings? The guy could turn water into wine and walk on water. Surely as the son of God, he had some badass powers.

I think there's workable way to answer "yes" to that: Part of the Trinity died and needed the other two parts to resurrect. From Jesus's perspective, he would need to have faith in the other two parts to go through with the crucifixion, since he, being dead, had no agency to resurrect on his own.

I'm not trying to get dragged into a religious debate, and I'm not trying to convert anyone, honest! I'm agnostic now, but I was raised an Episcopalian, I thought about and discussed that question a lot, and I'm just giving my best answer on the subject, you know, in the spirit of discussion.
